Italy was one of the countries listed in that category.
Some countries the leadership did not tell them to stay home and they also saw larger outbreaks.
Some countries especially those that are more isolated have been able to completely stop the virus but have to watch any visitors that bring it back into the country.
Even the original area of the outbreak in China was able to stop all local transmission and had no new cases for some time until visitors or residents returning home brought it back.
And I guess you comment about Italians kissing each other just shows how physical distancing helps stop the spread. Wash your hands and wear a mask and you have even more protection. | |
