Hooker Twp,Ne | Was wondering. Does your county have a setback rule on how close they can put a windmill by a house? They are trying to get a windfarm in my neighborhood and our county setback rule is currently 3/8 of a mile. There are some people in the community that are trying to change that to 1 mile. This would pretty much kill the windfarm idea in our area. I am also 50/50 on the idea. Heard some crop dusters won’t spray near them, the weather pattern near them causes storms to move Around them, and of course if you have enough of them in a given area, the light flickering at night, and the blade shadowing affect. Was also wondering on how much of a inconvenience they cause while they are building them as to me moving machinery from one farm to the next especially during planting and harvest season? | |
