NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | I don’t have them on my farm so I realize I’m not the one your asking advice from but just thoughts I’d give my two cents worth on the subject. They put a wind farm up North, North East of Marcus last year which is about 20 miles north of me. I can easily see them from my farm day and night on clear days. I have a good friend that lives 1/4 mile from one of the turbines but not on her property. I asked her how she likes it, she says she hates it, every time she looks out her kitchen window that’s the first thing she sees.
I know of a person that signed up for possible turbines going up South of Marcus, I’m not sure how that project is going.
I personally hope they don’t come any closer to me, I won’t have them on my farm, just personal preference. | |
