SEON | Had a company try to sign us up years ago.
They had the right to renew the lease but landowner did not have the right to cancel.
The lease was binding until the end of time...no sale of the land nor death of owner would terminate that lease.
The windmill company had the obligation to tear them down when finished but in reality they would just declare bankruptcy and we would be stuck with them.
Our family had managed a living off that land for several generation so the $40,000/yr they were offering wasn't worth it IMO. Forever is a long time
