Had one go up 8 miles east of us, think 130 or so. It is a really bad deal if you happen to have a monsoon. Hope that your county sup's are on the ball, because there will be fixin roads, county drainage tile, tax payer/landowner will be on the hook. On your own farm, compaction and broken tile are the big problem. I have not had windmills, but a Natty gas pipeline 5 years ago installed in the mud. Tiled on both sides 20' away and water still stands. Have some trucks and a loader available, there is a lot of crushed rock that gets moved around after they are done. Still have piles around.
