That Chrysler engine was a 2.6L mitsubishi. They had a fair amount of trouble with timing chain guides and ocassionally the balance shaft would beat the bearings out of the block. Toyota used the 2.2L 4 cyiinder engin in different vehicles. The Camry had a balance shaft assembly, the Celica with the same engine did not. Patrick
