Sounds like a pretty normal American diet you are on.

If you go back over the last ten or eleven pages and look through the diet threads I have pictured a dozen or so of the meals I have had. They are very low carb, most under 20 grams carbs which is very restrictive.

So that would give you some examples if low carb/low sugar is what you are striving for. Carbohydrates all eventually turn into simple glucose. Sugar.

If you want to limit sugar, limit carbs. Cut out bread, pasta, sugar soft drinks, beer, most fruit, fruit juice, potatoes, about all root crops, corn and starchy vegetables, etc. Junk food that comes in a package or box usually has added sugar so eating real whole foods will tend to be lower in sugar. Eat more meat and fat to satisfy hunger for the carbs reduced. That is if you want to reduce sugar/carbs from your diet.
