Pittsburg, Kansas | Several have suggested that the diet should contain everything in moderation. I do not disagree with that, but the question begs "at what level is moderation?". We eat around 60 pounds of sugar per year per person on average. Is that moderation? What would moderation be? Maybe what our forefathers ate of maybe a single digit of pounds per year?
This article discusses the amounts.

Look at the AHA daily guidlines compared to a can of Coke or a Snickers bar. Almost the whole days allottment in a single can/bar for a male, overboard for a female.
