I did listen to one researcher that said some types of cancer can utilize ketones so not all cancers are the same in this respect. The ketogenic diet as an additional measure to conventional cancer therapy seems to be beneficial for some types of cancer more than others.
It does look like hyperinsulinemia is a contributing factor to advance cancer growth. If I had cancer I personally would go on an zero carb diet and do intermittant fasting. Not saying it is the correct thing to do, just what I would do based on what I have learned to date, subject to change.
