Subject: RE: 1993 memories?

Somerville, Indiana
Wasn't 93 a record high rainfall even in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri?..River bottoms flooded, cattle lost?.

If memory is on, we had a good crop that was planted in June, not all the first week of June ether..

Prices were good because of the record high rainfall in the other three states...I remember the
conditions well, but am not at all sure about the year..

Main thing is, there has been record weather events in many other years...Youngsters tend to overlook
other folks' hardships and concentrate on what they think are their own...Usually just a downfall of
good times instead of playing out to be a hardship...Have to admit, all who seem to think that way are
not necessarily youngsters..
