MN | I remember not having crop insurance and putting the op note on a 5 year term, also the sun didn't shine, It was 55 for the high on the 4th of July, best friend was killed in a car accident in the end of October, I started picking after the funeral around October 28th, my corn was good at 48-50 pound tw and 28-30 moisture, some had a lot worse! some got sent home from the elevator as they would have had to write out a check to dump it because of drying and discounts! ground all my corn for feed back then and was never so happy when that crap was gone! some guys did the 0-92 program, I needed the feed so didn't look into that too much.
It froze on fathers day a year or 2 before that here I thought, not 93? | |
