| I would have to guess this is one of if not the worst natural disaster to affect Nebraska, or definitely Eastern Nebraska. Heard this morning 81 bridges have been lost to date. Several levies have broken which will need to be replaced and the damage to roads wont be realized until the water recedes. In Western Iowa we have seen record flooding this week but not as much damage as our neighbors to the west. I am sure the costs will be staggering to replace all the damaged infrastructure from this event. | |
