SeMN | +1 on OEM dealers, I will do anything first before I take my vehicle to any dealer shop with an un-warrantied repair. If I have to it would be the bare minimum repair to get me home or enough to get me to a cheaper shop. They really take advantage of the mechanically illiterate with scare tactics, and the “as long as we have it apart” line. Or the line “we just can’t let it leave our shop that way for liability reasons” . I signed a waiver once because of that line, after the service manager gave in after that line of bs. | |
