NW KS/ SC ID
IDK, I would have asked if the labor bill was solid and wouldnt change if I supplied my own parts, then I would have hunted down a Timken in town, and paid them their install price. The GMT400 2wd is the last GM 3/4 or 1 ton with serviceable bearings, I can go through both sides with new bearings (which is rare, usually re-pack) cheaper and easier than doing just one side of a 4wd. IMO 400 is not excessive on the install of a unit bearing on both sides.

That said, I had a ABS light come on my 442,000 mile 95 GMC K2500HD, and so its parked till fixed. Waiting for warm weather to go play in the un-heated shop. :)
