Northeast Louisiana | I have always say an undivided interest inheritance is a curse.
I also deal in real estate buying and selling myself, so I am familiar with what has happened.
I have seen families get torn apart over undivided interest. Extremely rare if the do get worked out but IT can get worked out. Also hard to divide equally without someone getting a bad spot or mud hole.
Find a way to divide property fairly. Designate each person a specific tract. With a legal description with easement.
Never divide property in the far back of tract without an easement or right of way across other siblings. Have a legal easement written up.
