I agree It’s not a stupid move, it could (maybe should?) have had the futures priced ahead at $4.xx plus rolling the carry + some other magic, Pat’s 20/20 hindsight marketing crystal ball is always the best.
And you aren’t the only one who has ever held unpriced grain in a Bin. Sometimes to my detriment but each time I try to learn something.
