Areas with a more stable basis will have a harder time paying off a bin via hard numbers vs a place like the Dakotas where I’m at. Harvest basis vs July basis can be upwards 30-40 cents itself, let alone the 25-35 of spread.
However, the added benefits are worth something, but that ROI is different for everyone. Kind of like running bigger equipment.
