Subject: RE: Selling the Carry and Bin ROI

southwestern illinois
Grain bins is simply an option that works differently for every operator. i have friends in central il. that has bins and doesn't use them because the local elevators are amazing in efficiency and paying out dividends. while down in southern illinois we really don't have that option. after going through tuff financial times years ago the first thing i started spending money on was grain bins and believe me it paid well. i can rely on small grain trucks with big augers and keep up with the semi truck guys. i hire out the trucking to deliver in the winter through the spring. staying in the office during the winter i can easily sell my grain for more which includes the delivery...i am not a trucker!
