NW IL, Mercer County | Did anyone go to the PP winter conference this week? Regardless of whether you like the products or believe their claims, they are very innovative. Any thoughts on their new products? Good sales pitches. Everything ends up adding 6 bushel. Seems to me like you put all the PP stuff on you could add 50 bushel! I’m not saying they are right or wrong but sure makes me wonder if I could be doing a little better, especially in my no-till with cover crops system. Its a challenging program when it comes to planter settings and timing.
I guess I havent bit on much PP stuff since all I have are keeton seed firmers. Sure would be nice to find a retailer or dealer with a 4 row planter decked out in PP everything to run strip trials against my planter. | |
