Western Ky. | If I understand you correctly the V-Sets help with even spacing and eliminating doubles. How much do you think perfect spacing helps yield over mediocre spacing? I ask this as I plant corn with an older CaseIH Cyclo planter. Spacing is less than ideal on a Cyclo planter. Our yields seem satisfactory but I am wondering how much yields could be improved with a newer CaseIH planter equipped with V-Sets? I have always thought that the Early Riser opener system offered the best depth control, even emergence, and much less side wall compaction than competing brands in notill. We are 100% notill.
