68milkman - 1/5/2019 22:54 The hay has to heat up to get to the carmelized state. That heat ties up some nutrients so the cattle don’t get all the nutrients out of the hay. Yes they like it but it does come at a cost.
Good point, but it seems like carmelized is still better than moldy.
