I have mentioned this before on AgTalk that we have no-tilled for many years. We see more improvement every year by using twin-row soybeans followed by corn planted in between the twin-row beans. The old roots form a small ridge leaving an ideal planting path. year after year it get more like an old fence row very mellow.[/QUOTE

Before I switched to no tilling beans in 15's with a drill, I did every thing 30 in. with a planter. Would just aim to plant in the middle of the old rows. But I noticed that it seemed if you planted just off of that old row it was better.
