I have said it for years. Do the same thing OPEC does, control production and prices.

They're too many individual farmers to make that work. You'd have to get government involved and they'd be foolish to do that if it increased food costs for their own populations as well as the export market buyers. The best we can hope for is cheap crop prices with some subsidies thrown our way.
