Maybe you recall or have heard about the production control programs and set-aside programs contained in farm bills back then. Obviously you do not know or remember how they failed to work. Did not work then, won't work now. Gave our business to South America. We failed to be a reliable producer, and our customers lost trust in us. And we had millions of bushels of grain reserve hanging over the market all the time, limiting any price rally potential.
