Ghog is probably figuring starter, harvest expense, diesel fuel, trucking, along with cash rent. Betchya he is close at 3 times your number. If you add drying costs, crop ins and a aerial fungicide treatment, and a couple cheeseburgers and cokes you would break $600/a cost of a 200 bu/a crop.


If it takes $600 acre to produce a 200 bu corn crop . Somebody has a serious overspending problem.
