| How do you make it half mile passes? I actually did that on two fields this year. Should have done it on more.
Let's say a half section that is longest from East to West. I entered the field in the middle of the South side and planted heading north across the middle of the field. Then I planted the rest of the field East and West, allowing my clutches to stop the planting as I crossed the middle N/S pass.
This will make it so I can harvest a path for the cart to travel through the middle of the field. Grain bags will be at the South end. Not perfect but hopefully better than the alternative? | |
