That 390 bushel bin seems an awfully lot like 330 to 360 most of the time to me. Maybe if they came with a guy to shovel corn into the corners...

But the 400+ bushels comes from 1.5 minutes of unloading while traveling 5.5 mph and taking in about 42 bushels per minute in on 125 bushel corn or in irritated you might be going over but you're taking 58 bushels per minute in. So say you stop with 360 bushels on and you unload on the go for 1.5 minutes at 42 bushels per minute. That's an additional 63 bushels or 423 bushels total.

None of that really matters all that much though. What really matters is making sure the combine is empty when it gets as close to the bag as it's going to get. One round on a quarter (two 2340' passes after you cut the end rows off and account for the right of way) is going to be slightly over 400 bushels. If you want two combines to dump 400 bushels each on one cart so that the second cart can go to the other end empty while the first cart is dumping on the bag then you need at least an 800 bushel cart. If you want to be dumping on the go, it's best to have a few hundred extra bushels of capacity so you don't have to drive perfect to top the cart off. Also the cart won't have to worry about spilling while going over terraces.
