Subject: RE: One big cart vs two normal carts

750 bushel cart cannot fully unload two combines especially if they are dumping on the go in good corn. My S67 would dump around 400 bushels if it were full when it started dumping while harvesting 125 bu/acre corn at 5.5 mph. To dump on the go you really need an extra 200 bushels of room in the cart so a guy really should have a 1,000 bushels cart for 2 combines. Should probably have darned near a 1500 bushels cart for 3 combines.

I try hard not to grow wheat but I'm failing this year. Wheat is not concerning to me in regards to harvest capacity though.

If I add a second cart I intend for it to be at least 1300 bushels so if I ever have to cart low test weight corn out of the bags again I won't have to load the cart twice for every truckload. 1100 bushel cart did not cut it for that this year.
