dutch - 12/27/2008 09:34 Like mentioned in the article, if you try to install XP on a second partition with Vista already installed, you will have problems. I found a work around but it was a lot of headaches!! I ended up buying a program called PowerSuite Professional to help me with the dual boot problem. It is true that installing the newer operating system first makes things more difficult than they need to be. Had you installed XP before installing Vista, it would have likely worked with only the minor flaw of not having restore points (in my opinion there are much more useful and powerful solutions than system restore anyways...if you even think that having that option is necessary which I do not).
