dko_scOH, if you want to learn Linux, check out VMPlayer at: http://www.vmware.com/products/player/. You can install this, then click an icon (in Windows) to run it, and it is just like running Linux without having to reformat, re-partition or anything else associated with running Linux in a dual-boot configuration. You can also run different flavors of Linux. I run Centos at work, and it is just like having Linux installed in the machine. It would take about 1/2 hour to set up. Once done, you start VMPlayer, then choose the type of Linux you want to run (Centos or other) and start it up.
