Yes some hybrid is probably best.
But back to grid vs zone, looking at my example, even if you were to move the point around within the grid, putting one value in each 2.5 acre block creates a map that i dont want nearly any influence from. It just does not align with yield very well at all. Plus it is more time consuming and expensive. Without liming or manure, it is a lose lose lose situation.
