NEIN | I never used your numbers of 1000 and 500 and 5% and 20%, you did but I am not sure what your point is since you understand the inverse relationship.That scenario will probably never happen, 5% and 6000 acre land or 20% and 1500 may. Both result in a per acre land cost of 300$ in direct interest expense. I will add though, the change will be much more rapid and accelerate at a very fast pace once the attitude of the farmer is that of despair and the throwing in of the proverbial towel occurs. When that happens, its too late and prices will plummet and very quickly. Seemingly overnight. Were you here for the 80's? | |
