I used to substitute Murphy's Oil Soap Paste for several standard tire lube products, particularly for packing a rim with a problem tubeless tire. Colgate Palmolive no longer makes Murphy's oil soap paste but JTM does still sell it as a tire mounting product. Another use for Murphy's Oil Soap Paste is greasing pigs for a greased pig contest, vegetable oil based, no phosphates and you have amazing clean pigs when you spray them with water.
