Every time a thread has popped up on here about new or replacement windows in a home, I've repeated. Pella casement windows are trash.  We have 43 year old ones and 20 year old ones (yes, I was weak and let a contractor talk me into them a second time) and the newer ones are worse than the old ones. Both were installed into new construction, not replacements.  We will be replacing the 20 year old ones this summer. Rotted out from the outside. Junk.
