Actually Gerald, many of the buyers of Non Gmo crops are the big players in the commodity trade.....ADM, CGB, Cargill, The Andersons...ect... not exactly your fly by night un-stable buyers. And as for the genetics, many many companies are releasing new top yielding Non Gmo varieties every year. In our own test plots, the Non Gmo corn and soybeans have often been some of the highest yielders. But in all honesty, I hope most growers continue to grow Gmo, as that gives those of us who do grow Non Gmo for a good yield along with a decent premium a better chance to continue making good money doing so.
