Sure they are. But you have to take everything with a grain of salt, even conferences. But the point was made that Rupert talked to a bunch of hippies from Colorado, and thought that was representative of organic consumers. No different than finding a guy growing organic strawberries on half an acre in CA and saying that is representative of California ag production. You can find people on the extreme of each end in any group of people, even at a conference. Doesn't mean they are representative of the group.
