| Yes, it would be fun to meet and watch a sale and visit. I was a physics & math major. My kid once had to write a paper after interviewing a parent about how their education helped in their work. He wrote that I said that I studied math and physics because I always knew that I wanted to be a poor dirt farmer.
On the cows - I know the feeling. In the years I fed heiferettes, the piles they left around the yards were like miniature mountains. But for many years, they made money. They were a pain in the ***, though.
I still drive from the Hills to St. Onge once in awhile - probably mainly to get that smell again. (g) I've always said that now I should keep a jar of it on my desk and open the lid once in awhile when I'm trying to figure out what the cattle market is doing. I think it might help . . . | |
