NW Ohio
USDA has Ohio's corn averaging somewhere north of 180 bushels. Yet in Hancock county (one of the top 10 usually in the state), the county extension agent estimates the county average around 170. A couple of corn piles in my area are already being picked up. And, the basis at a local ethanol plant has already started to inch higher. The evidence speaks volumes.
