If you want to wait a day or two anyway, how much ground can he rut up in a day or two. Don't want to turn into Dr. Phil here but sounds like you have bigger issues than mud. Working on these communication and anger issues will pay huge dividends, life altering dividends. The next time there is a big problem it could result in one of you saying I've had enough, then no one wins. Being able to farm with your Dad/son is a real privilege even though you might not think it is now. The damage he is doing should be evident in the next crop, take time to document what happened where and then get results from the following harvest. You should be able to show what a couple of days cost the farm. You will both learn from this and he will respect you a lot more.
