Subject: RE: Exports of corn

The averaged annual corn exports since 2000 was 1.800 billion so last year's 715 million is way low because of price and availability.

It is also important to remember that even with the added Brazilian and Ukraine production of corn, total ending world stocks of wheat and corn fell by over 1.25 billion bushel with 350 million of that in corn. If the current low price for interior Brazilian corn causes what some call a 10% drop in production, that opens up more potential for U.S. corn. At current price levels many nations will look to rebuild stocks (IMO) as is evidenced by the nearly 400 million bushel of 2013/2014 sales already on the books - most of which was purchased when futures were well above today's level.

World wheat feeding may also drop to a level lower than the current projected figurel if the Russian crop is actually at the low end of the estimated range as one of their officials said this past week.
