| fwiw I got the numbers from the RFS..
http://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.cfm?id=12531
which the EIA was forcasting ethanol production at 920 k bbls/d.. which.. comes to 5,073 myn bu (although some will be as sorghum.. possibly wheat..?) Anywho.. I kinda thought the 4,975 was legit. "I could be wrong."
Under the RFS that could force useage of e-85.. something we in the industry might want to promote..?? It could become valuable for all involved given that you can sell the RIN's above the requirements.. which you can either bank or lower the price.. (and sell more..) I kind of like that aspect..
All in all it looks like the ethanol producers should be able to make some $$$ this year.. as they can source some bushels below cop.. Might want to own some stock..?? |
