We used to use urea for this very purpose ahead of no till beans, even ploted some of the yields.  A complete waste of money both for the bean and 2nd year corn and when accounting  inputs for crop year 3-4.

the subject is AMS, not Urea

 

there is NO comparison in the Two products.  even the Nutrient content is completely different.

one would have to be willing to throw  100.  $$$ bills away to spread Urea in the fall. 

with No Sulfate
