...if you do the pot study.  I stongly suspect a negative efficiency in comparison. Also compare sidedress efficiency. 

 

We used to use urea for this very purpose ahead of no till beans, even ploted some of the yields.  A complete waste of money both for the bean and 2nd year corn and when accounting  inputs for crop year 3-4.
