I have also seen the bad side of a Farmer's personality when moving machinery. I was driving a stretch of road with no chance of passing for miles --and a line of traffic backed up for a half mile behind a tractor pulling a chisel plow. Did the farmer pull off when he could and let cars and trucks around? Nope-- the inconsiderate boob drove on for 11 miles without letting one vehicle around. I was ashamed.
