Kansas | A few weeks ago we were set to pour 28 yards of concrete for a shed floor (calcuim added for faster curing). Guy helping us brought over borrowed vibratory screed to get by being shorthanded. First truck starts dumpimg as fast as he can and screed motor won't start. Pulled and pulled still nothing. Then the pull rope breaks and the second truck will be here anytime. No worry as we keep an extra pull string on hand for recoil start. Wrong size. Guy helping us pour is about to fill his pants. I was about to give up looking for right size string when I noticed my workboots sitting nearby. Bootlace fit perfectly. Had it running just as second truck is coming dwn the road. | |
