| Some of your agents must not be explaining your options for you very good. Insurance is used to protect your investment when you have a loss, not to make money on. Play the board of trade for that. You don't hesistate to insure your house or vehicles (which values are less than your crop) so why don't you at least insure to cover your costs. Last year in my area a hail storm in July wiped out thousands of acres. I would have hated to have been totally wiped out and lost one years worth of income. | |
