| It's true I carry insurance on vehicles, equipment,buildings, life and hospital-but the USDA doesn't subdidise the premiums. I prefer to be self insured on crops and not have to report acres and yields to an insurance co. Why not allow those of us who prefer to be self insured to put money into a custodial account and have the USDA match it the way they do with insurance companys? It would give us a level playing field with the rest of you.
