I think that the crop ins subisidy is the only subsidy that farmers should get- cut out all the other BS- give them a safety net that they also have to invest in- Also all you non-believers- do you buy home-auto-building or life insurance?? How's that pay-back on those premiums? Crop insurance is a risk management tool- good managers use it to their advantage.
