| Along with the usual. mom always fixed a fruit salad.....Cut up bit size pieces of apples, pineapple, red grapes cut in half, cheese pieces, nuts, marshmallows, and the dressing was 1/2 miracle whip and whipped topping. At the last min. you could add bananas if you wanted.....I think she added celery, I always fix a cranberry salad with apples, pineapple, sugar, orange juice, jello, and nuts.....we really like that . And relishes are good to fix the day before....and cranberry salad I fix the day before.
