Kittitas Co. Wa. State

or Prime Rib ??

First get the biggest heaviest roaster you can get paws on, Get good prime rib, and large sack of rock salt.

1-2 inches rock salt in bottom of roaster, put in preped prime rib, pack 1-2 inches of rock salt.  put in meat them. kind with long wire to readout on outside oven.

Have oven preheated to 500 degrees or bit hotter. Place roaster with prime rib packed in rock salt in oven lid on, heat quick salt will crust over totally seal prime rib inside !

once Salt has sealed rib, turn down oven cook 220-250 till them. hits temp inside the prime rib, remove from oven. Let stand till you don't burn the snot out of fingers while pulling salt shell off prime rib.

GOOD eats. !!       Prime rib doesn't soak up salt but salt actually 'melts' and seals moisture inside prime rib.
